“Empower Your Future: Volunteer Opportunities for High School Students”

Non-Profit Organization ‘Georgia Community Aid’ Recruiting High School Volunteer Team

Opportunities for College Recommendations, Presidential Volunteer Service Awards, and More

The non-profit organization ‘Georgia Community Aid’ (GCA), led by President Chunghee Park, is dedicated to the empowerment and political participation of Asian and minority communities through various local volunteer activities. GCA is now recruiting youth volunteers.

Eligible applicants are students entering grades 9-12 in the upcoming academic year starting in August. Interested students can apply through the online application form (link). Volunteer students will have the opportunity to earn volunteer credits and be eligible for awards such as the Presidential Volunteer Service Award. They will also participate in a variety of volunteer activities at government and political events, community events, and more.

Volunteers will be assigned to teams based on their skills and future aspirations. These teams include the ‘Media Team,’ which will engage in promotional activities through social media platforms like YouTube and Instagram; the ‘Performance Team,’ which will perform at various events; the ‘Event Team,’ which will handle on-site volunteer work and networking; and the ‘Education Team,’ which will assist local children with their studies and extracurricular activities.

President Cheonghee Park stated, “Georgia Community Aid plans to maximize the potential of youth by operating the first media promotion team led by young people among local organizations. We will support students who actively participate in volunteer work to receive not only the Presidential Volunteer Service Award but also recommendations from political and government officials.”
