Former Maryland Governor Larry Hogan and Governor Kemp to Co-host Fundraising Event
Former Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, known as the “Korean Son-in-law,” and his wife, Yumi Hogan, will hold a fundraiser in Atlanta on the 25th.
Hogan, who is running as a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in the upcoming November election, will attend the fundraising event hosted by Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and his wife in the afternoon.
Hogan, who served as the governor of Maryland for eight years, a traditionally Democratic stronghold known as a “blue state,” is currently leading significantly over his Democratic opponent in various polls for the Senate race.
Hogan, who earned the nickname “Korean Son-in-law” after marrying Korean-American Yumi Hogan, has received substantial support from prominent Korean-American figures. Last month, a separate fundraising event was organized for him by Jason Yoo, Chairman of JDDA Group, Jay Kim, founder of C2 Education, and Ilyeon Kwon, Chairman of H Mart.
The fundraising event on the 25th will feature different levels of contributions: $10,000 for the host committee, $6,600 for sponsors, $3,300 for co-sponsors, and $1,000 for supporters. Donors will be informed of the event location after committing their contributions.
Former U.S. Senators Saxby Chambliss and Kelly Loeffler, along with major local business leaders, are expected to attend the event.
