BE:MAX, Formerly ‘MustB’, Set to Perform at Korean Festival

K-pop Idol Group and Artist Beom Han to Light Up the Stage

The 2024 Korean Festival, taking place at Sugarloaf Mills in Lawrenceville on October 5 and 6, promises to be a K-pop extravaganza, drawing fans into the electrifying world of Korean pop music.

According to the Korean Festival Foundation, the five-member K-pop idol group BE:MAX will perform at 3 PM on both days. BE:MAX, formerly known as MustB, rebranded after changing agencies and has since continued to build a passionate global following.

The group kicked off their first world tour in 2022, performing in five U.S. cities and five countries across South America, where they were met with overwhelming enthusiasm. During their U.S. tour, BE:MAX held a mini-concert and fan meet in Atlanta, drawing a massive crowd, a testament to their growing popularity. Their explosive success during the South American leg of the tour generated significant global attention.

On October 6, K-pop artist Beom Han, a familiar face at the Atlanta Korean Festival, will also perform at 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM. Known for drawing impressive crowds, Beom Han is one of the festival’s regular headliners, and expectations are high for his performances this year.

In addition, K-pop hopefuls from across the Southeastern U.S. will take the stage for a special K-pop performance event at 7:30 PM on October 5. These aspiring stars were selected during a preliminary competition held by the Korean Festival Foundation on August 17 in downtown Lawrenceville.

“The power of K-pop transcends race and generations, bringing people together,” said Michelle Lee, Secretary General of the Foundation. “Live stage professionals have been preparing and rehearsing throughout the week to deliver a top-notch show.”
