Chinese organization NACA previews a documentary at the Carter Center on the 25th
The National Association of China-Americans (NACA), a Chinese-American national organization, will premiere the documentary film “Blurring the Color Line” at the Carter Center in Atlanta on the 25th.
The premiere, which will be held at 2 p.m. on the same day, will be organized in the order of movie screenings and panel discussions under the theme of “Asians in Black & White America.”
The movie deals with the lives and hardships of Chinese people living in the southern part of the Black-and-White Separation era. The NACA said, “The movie begins with the question of where Asian people sat, although white people sat in the front and black people in the back seats during the Jim Crow era.”
Attendance at the premiere is free, but pre-registration is required. Registration can be made on the NACA website (link).
