1. Human Resources Generalist

Job Summary

We are looking for a (Human Resources) HR Generalist to join our team and implement various human resources programs. HR Generalists have a broad knowledge of human resources functions, from hiring to onboarding and from employee compensation to evaluation. If you have a passion for HR, are familiar with labor law and look to kickstart your career in the field, this is the place to be. Your role as an HR Generalist will be far from one-dimensional. You’ll undertake a wide range of HR tasks, like administering employee benefits and leaves and crafting HR policies. You will use Human Resources Information Systems to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. You’ll act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics. The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.

Responsibilities

• Administer compensation and benefit plans
• Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
• Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
• Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
• Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
• Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies
• Undertake tasks around performance management
• Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
• Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
• Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
• Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations

Job Qualifications

• At least 1 year of previous working knowledge of HR compliance, Payroll, and Employee Relationship preferred
• Effective Verbal and Written Communication skills
• Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others
• Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills

2. Loan Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

The Loan Compliance Specialist II is responsible for the ongoing review of all loans originated and processed within the company. The primary purpose of the review is to assure federal, state, and internal procedures are properly maintained and documented. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the residential mortgage lending industry, processes, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to HMDA, RESPA, TILA, Fair Lending, SAFE Act, FCRA, PTFA, and ECOA.

Job Qualifications

• This position will work with the Compliance Manager to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, mitigate potential liabilities and help avoid penalties or other legal action.
• On-going monitoring of the mortgage compliance and quality control programs, including auditing mortgage loans for adherence to federal and state regulations and documenting all findings for management review.
• Working with the mortgage department regarding rules, standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Adverse action review
• HMDA, Fair Lending, and CRA monitoring and reporting
• Respond to internal and external inquiries related to compliance.
• Review all loans subject to flood insurance for adherence to FEMA, FDIC, and Company policies and procedures.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
• 3+ years experience working with a mortgage and commercial loan compliance.

All position candidates must be fluent in English or bilingual in Korean/English is preferred
